Privacy
This page explains what personal data lentora.co.uk collects, why, and what you can do about it. It is written in plain English rather than legal boilerplate. If anything here is unclear, email info@lentora.co.uk and we will explain it.
Who we are
Lentora is a UK thin prime contractor operating in England and Wales. The company is in the process of being incorporated; until that completes, the founders are jointly responsible for the data described here. ICO registration is being put in place alongside incorporation.
What we collect
When you use the contact form
We collect the name, email address, organisation, role, description of what you deliver, and any message you choose to give us. That is all optional except your name and email — without those we cannot reply.
This information is emailed to us and kept in our email account and, if the conversation progresses, in our supplier records. We use it to reply to you and to assess whether there is a sensible commercial fit. We do not sell it, and we do not add you to a marketing list.
Legal basis: legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries, and taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.
When you read the guides or browse the site
We use Google Analytics to understand which pages people read and how they arrive. This sets cookies and collects an approximate location, device and browser type, and the pages you visit. It tells us that a page was read; it does not tell us who you are.
Legal basis: legitimate interest in understanding whether the site is useful. You can opt out entirely by using your browser's Do Not Track or an ad blocker, both of which we respect by consequence rather than by special handling.
Spam protection
The contact form may use Cloudflare Turnstile to distinguish people from bots. It processes limited technical data about your browser at the point of submission. It does not profile you or track you between sites.
Who else touches your data
- Cloudflare — hosts this website and routes our email. Traffic passes through their network.
- Brevo — delivers the email generated by the contact form.
- Google — provides Analytics, and our email is delivered into a Google account.
We do not share your details with any other supplier, buyer or third party without asking you first. If we want to name your company in a bid, we will ask you explicitly and you can say no.
How long we keep it
Contact enquiries are kept for up to two years, so that we can pick up a conversation that was too early the first time round. If you become a delivery partner, we keep your records for as long as the relationship lasts and for six years afterwards, which is the standard retention period for contractual and tax records. Analytics data is retained on Google's standard schedule.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to how we are using it. Email info@lentora.co.uk and we will action it within one month, normally much sooner.
If you are not happy with how we have handled it, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes
If we change how any of this works, we will update this page and change the date at the top. There is no version history — if you need to know what it said previously, ask us.
